Jordan Montgomery

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA, rapper Jordan Montgomery is a member of the arts and activism collective 1Hood. Jordan gained  exposure on the Pittsburgh hip hop scene with a string of releases with longtime producer MOSLOV. 

Jordan released his debut album Driving While Black in 2016. The album gained both local and national praise for its take on police brutality, racism, and everyday black life.

Jordan started his own record label Driving While Black Records that same year. 

Jordan's style has been compared to early 2000s rap artists such as Jay-Z, Cam'ron, and Kanye West. His songs have been praised for their lyrical content, social consciousness, and stellar production. Jordan has graced stages with hip hop legends including Rakim, Chuck D, and X Clan. 

Jordan plans to release his second album Dark Horse in 2019.
